Salmon cakes

Just a quick blog about the salmon cakes that I made for Ali last week:


Here is Ali's dinner plate, served with salmon cakes (all cut up nicely), applesauce and rice.  She is okay with the salmon cakes, but not crazy with the applesauce.  Daddy seemed to enjoy them more than Ali for some reason.  Hahhaa....

  3. I got this recipe from a book called "love in spoonfuls". Mix one can of boneless, skinless wild salmon with shallots, an egg, parsley, and 1/4 cup of panko (bread crumbs). Roll into little balls and flatten to make patties. Dust with additional panko and pan fried until golden brown. Enjoy!
