Although we were not able to shop in person on Black Friday, we did manage to get a few good deals online. We thought it would be fun (or could turn out really really aweful) to take the kids with us to pick up our parcels and do some quick shopping in Bellingham.
On our way there, both kids were quite happy. No real melt downs. In fact, Ali was so good and patient at the parcel place, we let her have half a lollipop. She was SO content!
Bellis Fair was filled with these ride-ons. Hubby took the little one to shop while I hung out with her at her hot-dog stand.

The kids practically reached their limit after lunch, so we let them play at the kids area. Man, I do really love those play soft structures. They are so awesome! Both kids had so much fun - Nate "walked" around and Ali running around like crazy. Hubby and I really wanted to stock up some corelle plates. Not pretty, but practical. They are so hard to chip/break. But, we had to drive another 45 minutes to Burlington. Would the kids able to sleep in the car???

By the time we hit Burlington, Nate passed out and Ali still awake enough to go shopping with daddy. Unfortunately, baby boy did wake up for a little while, but managed to fall back to sleep for the rest of the drive back. Ali also slept a decent nap. Overall, it was a great little trip!! Does that mean we can actually go to the outlet to shop soon??
